Event Sponsorship Opportunities

As a non-profit organization, Everybody Wins! DC (EW!DC) depends on the financial support of private businesses, foundations and individuals who are committed to helping to make a difference in the lives of children.

In addition to individual donations and foundation grants, EW!DC sponsors have supported our fundraising events, including three annual charity golf tournaments: The National Geographic Television Charity Golf Tournament, the Annual Scramble Golf Tournament and the Ag Open and an annual Lawyers for Literacy Trivia Challenge

Our sponsors also play a critical role in the success of our largest annual fundraiser, the Everybody Wins! DC Gala Celebration, held in the spring. The annual fundraiser is a cornerstone in the financial framework that has made EW!DC the largest children’s literacy and mentoring program in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Sponsors of events are recognized on signage at the events, which often attract members of Congress, White House staff and area business and community leaders. Sponsors are also acknowledged in our newsletter, distributed three times a year, thanked on our website, and mentioned in donor-related materials.

For information on sponsorship opportunities for a specific event please visit the events page or contact our Executive Director, Mary Salander, at (202) 216-9467 ext. 201.

"Seeing her become more confident and her love of reading increase has been such a joy to watch."
"It's mostly fun to read and watch her become such a confident reader and learn to love reading as much as I do. She is one of my best friends."
"When an adult helps a child, it tells that child how special they are. We send a message to the child- you are important to me- that is powerful and undeniable."
"It's a fantastic program, and I think the mentors get as much, if not more, than the student. You meet wonderful kids and have lots of fun."
"When I read, I learn and grow-- you know, like Jack and the Beanstalk kind of growing and that's really big!"
"I wish Everybody Wins was everyday!"
